MATT Liddiard scored twice as Evesham United beat Barnstaple Town in a comfortable game.
In a first half that saw neither side wanting to take control of the game, Evesham Utd were limited to long range shots while the visitors were happy to sit back and defend.
The second half saw Evesham Utd starting the stronger of the two sides, and they broke the deadlock 18 minutes from time as Liddiard climbed high to power home a header from a Bradley Gray corner.
