ROVERS’ long wait for a home win this season continues with Ashford Town the latest to leave Sharpenhoe Road with the three points.
The early play was controlled by Town with right winger Kameron English prominent and it was with the run of play when Jack Beadle fired Town ahead with a low right foot shot in the 11th minute.
Rovers fought their way into the match and it was Dan Jarvis who equalised after 31 minutes when he steered home from a cross on the right.
