MANGOTSFIELD finally recorded a much-needed win, but had to thank debutant keeper Ray Johnson as he denied Didcot, who were very much on top in the first-half.
He made two good stops from George Reid, and Ed Weeks also cleared a header off the line.
When Mangotsfield took the lead in the 34th minute, through Jordan Ricketts, it was their first serious attack of the game.
‘The Field’ came back strongly after the break, although Johnston was still kept busy while debutant Kailan Gould also shone.
