GAFFER LAIGHT DEPARTS BUCKS

ELLIS Laight has quit as manager of Toolstation Western League Premier Division club Buckland Athletic.
The 41-year-old former Torquay United trainee striker, who made 409 appearances in two spells with Bideford and also appeared for Taunton Town in the 201 FA Vase final at Wembley, finished his playing career with Buckland.
He was made manager at the start of last season when former boss Adam Castle moved to Ireland.
He took the club to the sixth round of the FA Vase before they lost 2-0 to Bromsgrove Sporting and registered a fourth-place finish in the league.
