WINGATE & FINCHLEY secured a first win in seven games.
The first chance of the game fell to Reece Beckles-Richards, who drifted in at the far post and headed past Jonathan Henly, but he was adjudged to have been in an offside position.
However, Beckles-Richards got his redemption after playing a one-two with Rob Laney and curling an effort into the top corner from the edge of the area.
