WISBECH HIT WITH FINE FOR A RACIST REMARK

WISBECH Town have been fined £500 following a racist comment made to Bromsgrove Sporting’s goalkeeper during their FA Vase round four game on January 6.
The United Counties Premier side were charged with failing to ensure that players and/or officials and/or spectators conducted themselves in an orderly fashion during the game.
The charge was brought after a racist comment was made to the visitors’ keeper Reece Francis in the first half of Bromsgrove’s 3-1 victory. Reports said that Francis left the field in tears at half-time. It was said that the ref...
