ALL OVER FOR BLABY – AFTER 90 YEARS!

BLABY & Whetstone Athletic have pulled out of the Step 6 East Midlands Counties Premier with only six weeks of the season left.
The Warwick Road club has found difficulty in finding sufficient players to make up teams in recent weeks. It’s a decision which could bring the curtain down on 90 years of football.
Blaby were founded in 1928 as Whetstone Athletic and entered the Leicester City League.
They were promoted to their current league from the Leicestershire Senior League in 2011.
