A GOAL eight minutes into added on time rescued a point for Cambridge City.
Dunstable came out of the blocks and good work out wide by Nathan Frater set up BJ Christie to have a tap in from close range on 12 minutes.
AFC doubled their lead four minutes later when Leon Cashman headed home a Christian Tavernier corner.
The home side continued to create chances as Luke Bexton denied Christie twice.
Cambridge came out more determined after the break and pulled a goal back through Ryan Sharman. The Lillywhites were now getting on top.
