GAME OFF AFTER PLAYER SEIZURE

LIVERSEDGE’S home Northern Counties East Premier home game against Hall Road Rangers on Monday was abandoned after a player had a seizure.
The referee called a halt to the proceedings in the 78th minute after Liversedge’s Craig Billington was taken ill.
He spent a night in hospital but was discharged after being given a clean bill of health by medics.
A club statement said: “We thank Hall Road Rangers for their concern and understanding.”
