COGGESHALL’S Isthmian debut was a tough one against last season’s playoff semi-finalists.
Both sides had chances, with Lewis Manor going closest for Bowers in the first half, and Kieran Bishop for Coggeshall.
Bowers dominated early possession, but James Bransgrove did not have a meaningful save to make.
Coggeshall had the second half after being on the back foot. Kevin Coyle and Bishop both had chances to break the deadlock, but were unable to hit the mark.
