■ COLLIERIES stayed in the play-off hunt with a hard-earned win at bottom club Blyth, who had goalkeeper Kieran Hunter sent off.
Blyth had an early goal disallowed for offside and two goals in two minutes just before half-time from Joe Lumsden and Frankie Sinfield, from the penalty spot after a foul on Lumsen, put the visitors clear. Sinfield had another effort ruled out for offside.
Adam Johnson made a game of it when he pulled one back on the counter-attack after 60 minutes with a top-class strike.
