BAILEY’S IN CHARGE

TITLE-winning former manager Gary Bailey has returned to Portland United to again take charge on an interim basis following the resignation of Callum Brooks.
Bailey, who will run the Sydenhams Wessex Premier outfit with coach Mark Carter while a successor is sought, and who is also acting as Portland’s interim chairman, led the club to three championships when he was in charge. He also stepped in as caretaker manager in 2018 after Simon Browne left.
