■ A BATTLING performance by bothsides failed to break the deadlock.
Paulton started brightly and Dan Cottle’s right-wing cross was headed goalwards by Tom Llewellyn.
The Kingfisherss first chance came after 17 minutes when the tricky Jordan Alves found Andy Gunn, his header going wide.
Alves had a great chance but blasted over and Rovers responded with a neat one-two between Cottle and Dave O’Hare with a last-ditch tackle preventing a chance.
