THE NEW SAINTS now need just one more win from their remaining three matches to be crowned JD Welsh Premier League champions for an eighth successive season.
The Saints crushed Newtown 6-0 at Latham Park yesterday – just three days after they battered Bala Town 7-0 in their game in hand. Connah’s Quay Nomads’ 1-0 defeat at Caernarfon Town means TNS are now seven points clear with nine left to play for.
