WELCOME to the latest update of Fantasy Non-League 2016/17. Today's update covers the seven-day period Sunday 26th February 2017 through to Saturday 4th March 2017.
Well we have now reached our sixth Manager of the Month award for the 2016/17 Season. This award is for the month of February 2017.
In first place and the winner of £100 is Harvey Ship 3, they finished the month with 2,582pts. In second place and 149pts behind is Winchester Exile who picked up £50. In third place and just missing out was Carry On Dick who finished 157pts behind our winner.
Finishing in bottom place in the month of February 2017 and winning £50 is Sams Booby Boys who finished the month with 700pts. They finished just 15pts adrift from their nearest rival Yab Toulouse.
The February 2017 End of Season league bonuses go to the following teams. The first named club is the league leader and the second is the bottom club. (Remember these bonus points only count towards the main points total, not Manager of the Month).
National League Premier – Lincoln City/York City. National League North – AFC Fylde/Altrincham. National League South – Ebbsfleet Utd & Maidenhead Utd*/Margate. Evo-Stik Northern Premier – Blyth Spartans/Skelmersdale Utd.
Ryman Premier – Bognor Regis T/Grays Athletic. Evo-Stik Southern Premier – Chippenham Town/Cinderford T. The Mixture – Hereford/Northwich Victoria.
*(Both Ebbsfleet Utd & Maidenhead Utd finished the month of February 2017 with exactly the same record. So, after much thought I have decided to award both clubs 25pts).
Each month the best and worst teams in each of the seven leagues FNL points wise are awarded 25pts and -25pts. Listed below are those teams. (Remember these points only count in the Manager of the Month calculations not the main season).
National League Premier – Lincoln City/Southport. National League North – Brackley Town/Gainsborough Trinity.
National League South – Ebbsfleet Utd/Bishop's Stortford. Evo-Stik Northern Premier – Blyth Spartans/Marine. Ryman Premier – Billericay Town/Leiston. Evo-Stik Southern Premier – Slough Town/Kings Langley. The Mixture – Salisbury/Uxbridge.
