IAN ROBINSON and Gary Sucharewycz are back in the Evo-Stik Northern Premier League after taking over as joint-bosses of Loughborough Dynamo.

The duo, who previously managed Grantham Town and Rainworth Miners Welfare, replace Scott Machin at Dynamo after he quit last week following the 9-1 thrashing at Chasetown.

Former Loughborough striker Kris Nurse stepped in as caretaker boss and led the club to an important victory over Carlton Town.

Robinson and Sucharewycz were confirmed as the club’s new permanent managers on Friday before Saturday’s trip to Leek Town which they lost 2-1 in the Evo-Stik NPL Division One South.

Dynamo chairman Frank Fall said: “Following the resignation of Scott Machin Loughborough Dynamo acted positively, and we are delighted to have secured the services of joint-managers Ian Robinson and Gary Sucharewycz, with Dan Peacock and Sam Peters forming their coaching team.

“They have successfully managed Rainworth Miners Welfare and Grantham Town in similar situations.

“The club would like to thank Kris Nurse for his work for Dynamo and getting a squad together for last Saturday’s game. We are delighted that the players responded and secured three vital points against Carlton Town, in what turned out be Kris’ last game for Dynamo.

“The managers had a busy time preparing for Wednesday’s away game at Kidsgrove Athletic, but again the players responded brilliantly and secured a deserved 2-0 win.

“Having shown energy and commitment to the cause the new management have already enthused the club and everybody is now looking forward to the next game and hopefully a long and enjoyable spell under our new, and still young, management team.”
