SHORTWOOD United’s Will Morford bagged a second-half brace to overturn Wimborne’s slender first-half lead.
In a classic game of two halves, the only goal of the first period came on 18 minutes from a Wimborne short-corner routine, allowing Billy Maybury to rifle his shot into the net.
A more determined Shortwood appeared after the break and dominated the second period. The equaliser came on 73 minutes when Morford was slipped through to beat Gerard Benfield.
