ASH’S BACK IN NEW ROLE

FORMER Bridlington Town midfielder Ash Allanson is returning to the Toolstation Northern Counties East Premier club to launch a new academy. Allanson, a sports tutor at East Riding College, across the road from Town’s Queensgate stadium, left the Seasiders earlier this season after eight years.
But he is now aiming to use his day job to help his old club. Town have teamed up with the college to start the new academy, with the first trials of young players to take place on April 19. The academy will officially open in September and offer studies for the Level 3 BTEC in Sport.
