Try it yourself, then criticise!

HAVE any critics of refereeing standards ever actually considered becoming an official themselves? No? Me neither. Why would you?
I attended a Hellenic League game at Thame United recently, as a neutral, where the referee was clearly inexperienced and gave some poor decisions.
This, according to the visiting manager, was justification for a tirade of personal abuse at the official, including threatening to withdraw his players from the pitch after just five minutes!
