JACOB HAZEL scored the only goal as Scarborough beat the play-off chasers.
Hazel served notice of intent early on when he fired wide after a defensive mistake.
Benny Igiehon was also a lively presence as they looked to make the breakthrough.
Hazel did finally get his name on the scoresheet with a superb effort on 71 minutes.
He also nearly played in Igiehon shortly afterwards when he unselfishly set up his teammate but the Glossop goalkeeper denied him with a critical save.
