A VALIANT comeback saw Maldon & Tiptree earn a point.
Dereham shocked their hosts with a goal after just 13 minutes when Danny Beaumont chased down a long clearance.
And the Maldon defence were again caught napping by Joe Gatting just after the break for 2-0.
Maldon got back into it when a cross-shot from Liam Nash got a slight deflection from Montel Agyemang to fly past Josh Glover.
Glover was beaten again after 83 minutes when a good one-two between Adam Mills and Sam Newson ended with the latter lobbing home.
