CHATHAM kept their faint survival hopes alive with a vital win at already-safe Chipstead.
Striker Ricky Freeman scored the only goal after ten minutes, pouncing on a loose ball in the Chips defence to finish past Luke Colquhoun As much as they huffed and puffed, Chipstead were unable to find the net for the first time since Boxing Day, with Jason Henry and sub Leon Lalor-Dell having their best chances Chris O’Flaherty also put a free-kick inches wide just before the end.
