■ GUERNSEY couldn’t secure survival on their own terms at Footes Lane.
Dom Heaume headed them in front for the second consecutive game, but the Hornets levelled on the stroke of half-time when Tom Lawley finished off a good move on the counter.
Darren Boswell turned it around eight minutes into the second half when his low shot from a free-kick found the net, and a lovely curler from Steven Metcalf made it three.
Substitute Ross Allen bundled in from close range, but Sam Cochrane’s sending off added to the frustration.
