STAMFORD should and could have had all three points but ended with none.
Saul Deeney saved well at Grant Ryan’s feet and John King hit the side netting from a tight angle.
Basford then opened the scoring with a well struck free kick from James Reid but Stamford equalised with Liam Marshall smashing home.
Basfordretook the lead when Courey Grantham was well placed to tap home quickly followed by Riece Bertram glancing a header in.
Stamford regrouped and Laurie Wilson put a corner straight in.
Jordan Smith and Delroy Gordon both had good chance...
