80-MILE HIKE WILL SHAW-LY FRUSTRATE FAITHFUL

MIDLAND League Premier Division outfit Shawbury United’s fans face an 80-mile round trip to see home games from next season.
The club is quitting the Butler Sports Ground in Wem and moving to the SBS Stadium, the home of the former AFC Ludlow, 40 miles to the south.
Fans will now face a return trip of around two hours every match day.
A statement from Shawbury said: “This is a decision the club has not taken lightly and has been carefully deliberated over by many, for many weeks.
