DOVER’S two Rickys scored the goals to set up a comfortable home win as Southport’s inevitable relegation was confirmed.
Ricky Modeste slotted in the first and his exquisite lob rounded off the win. Ricky Miller fired in his 36th goal of the season a minute earlier as Athletic moved into the top five at the expense of Aldershot.
Delighted boss Chris Kinnear said: “I am really, really pleased today.
We are second highest scorers in the league and you can see why with the attacking football we played.”
