■AN INTENSE evenly fought play-off encounter was tilted Grantham’s way in the 76th minute with a momentary indecision involving two of Buxton’s most experienced players.
Jan Budtz and Greg Young failed to boss a straight forward long ball situation down the middle allowing Lee Shaw to tap home.
Until the goal the game was nip and tuck with both sides going close, but late on the Gingerbreads had little difficulty in holding on.
