■MERTHYR consolidated their play-off place, moving up to fourth with a comfortable win over an unadventurous St Ives outfit. Fittingly, both goals came from striker Ryan Prosser who received a presentation before the match for scoring 150 goals for the club – only the fifth Merthyr player to reach that figure.
