■INJURY ravaged Lowestoft were able to field a bare 11 players against Staines in a game that saw three red cards by the end.
Staines took the lead in the 21st minute with Bettamer creating a simple tap in for Tom Collins. Just seven minutes later Staines doubled their lead with Max Worsfold curling a direct free-kick around the wall and into the net.
Lowestoft were given a life line on the stroke of half time as Dominic Docherty surged forward to release Nico Cotton to slot the ball past keeper Jack Turner.
