PLAY-OFF contenders Taunton looked intent on securing an early lead and the home goal was bombarded in the first ten minutes by constant attacks.
Leigh had an outfield player, Stuart Hole, in goal due to the unavailability of their regular keepers and he performed heroically throughout to finish with a clean sheet.
Taunton dominated play but Leigh looked dangerous on the break, and in first half injury time keeper Lloyd Irish had to make amends for his foul by saving Michael Hopkins’ penalty.
