SHORTWOOD finished their season with their third win in a row thanks to a fine goal from mid fielder Jack Freeman.
Will Morford had already missed a relatively simple chance for the Wood before Jack Freeman scored after a fine team move.
They built from the back and the ball fell to Chris Withington who did superbly to hold off two challenges before finding Freeman on the edge of the area. The young midfielder wasted no time shooting crisply across keeper Steven Oliver.
