A GOAL in each half helped VCD Athletic overcome a spirited Ware outfit.
Ware were keen to get the point to secure their safety, and they came close when Alaa Oujdi’s freekick just eluded Josh Oyibo.
Darren Behcet did well to smother Mitch Hahn’s attempt on goal, before VCD went ahead with a fine move. Kojo Awotwi broke down the left before cutting inside and playing in Victor Caicedo, who sent a delightful ball across the box where Hahn slotted home.
Derek Duncan’s free kick made the game safe.
