ROMFORD ended their season with a goalless stalemate against their local rivals and for the third home game on the trot, ended the afternoon with ten men.
Both teams had goals ruled out in the first half, with Aveley’s Jeremiah Maja flagged offside after scoring while Romford’s James Ishmail had his header disallowed for a push.
After Greg Akpele was shown a second yellow card in the 60th minute, Aveley’s Chinedu McKenzie narrowly failed to get a head on Jamie Dicks’ cross.
