HORSHAM ended their season on a bum note as they slipped to a disappointing home defeat at the hands of Hythe Town.
With the scores level at half-time, neither side looked like breaking the deadlock, although Josh Pelling got down well to keep out an effort from Dean Grant while Steve Metcalfe saw a header wonderfully tipped over the bar by visiting goalkeeper Joe Mant.
However, Grant would beat the offside trap midway through the second half to roll past Pelling, and from there, Horsham failed to muster a response.
