It goes a Long way

I WOULD like to say a big thank you to all concerned with Longlevens AFC for a memorable recent visit.
After being dropped off at the wrong address on arrival, I was offered a free lift to the correct venue where after signing their groundhopper visiting book, I was offered free cake and tea. I was made to feel very welcome.

I THINK it’s time for BT Sport to be thanked for its coverage of Non-League football this season, whether it be matches or footage to whet the appetite of what is coming up. Well done BT

FANS’ FORUM WITH National league attendances totalling 1,545,344 for last season, a minimal increase of say £0.25p per ticket sale would have yielded a total income of £386,336. The National League could then place this in a central “holding fund” specifically for the aid of clubs who have had “long...

Cup replays simply don’t make sense

FANS’ FORUM AS a relative newcomer to being a football fan, I have taken the plunge and fully engrossed myself in Non-League and joined my amazing hometown club, Merthyr Town. It was difficult therefore to learn last Saturday, following a late injury-time equaliser from Truro City, that the team would...
