CHAMPIONS Atherton Collieries were handed their sixth defeat of the season as Runcorn Town beat the promoted side 2-1.
Joe Holt scored an injury time winner for the visitors minutes after Craig Cairns had cancelled out a Jordan Cover opener.
Runcorn Linnets netted eight as they trounced AFC Darwen with no reply thanks to a Anthony Hickey hattrick. Elsewhere, 1874 Northwich held on to a 2-1 victory against Nelson thanks to first-half goals from Joseph Wooley and Jack Lever.
