PURTON HOUSE NOT BIG ENOUGH

PURTON have pulled out of the Hellenic League because the local parish council will not allow their Red House ground to be upgraded.
Club chairman Ian Eastwood this week announced their withdrawal from Division One East and return to the Wiltshire Senior League, bringing to an end 32 years’ Hellenic membership.
Purton are also looking for a new manager following the resignation of Justin Miller for family reasons after three years in charge. His assistant Nick Maggs has also left.
