THE National League North has just got even more interesting – lottery winner Lee Mullen is to invest in Alfreton Town and a push for promotion has been predicted.
The Reds have struggled to compete in a flush division in recent years but that could be about to change.
Chairman Wayne Bradley has confirmed ex-Grimsby Town director Mullen, who along with his wife Susan scooped nearly £5m back in 2011, is to join the club’s board.
