STILL’S GOT SOME CHEEK

MICHAEL CHEEK has tur ned down clubs in the Football League to join John Still’s Dagenham & Redbridge promotion hopefuls.
The 25-year-old scored 20 goals for Braintree Town last season, despite their relegation from the National League.
That record has convinced boss Still to hand out a two-year deal to the former Stanway Rovers and Chelmsford City man, who made NLP columnist Adam Virgo’s team of the 2016-17.
