WESTONSUPER- MARE already knew the identity of their next manager – even before Scott Bartlett’s shock departure this week.
When Bartlett was handed the reins at Woodspring Stadium seven months ago, he was one of two candidates to shine from an extensive recruitment process.
The other was former Nuneaton, Tamworth and Forest Green striker Marc McGregor, who had a spell at Weston as assistant manager to Craig Laird in 2014.
