SOUTHPORT have announced the signing of former Tranmere captain Steve Jennings.
The midfielder, 32, has a wealth of experience in the Football League, having made 140 appearances for Rovers in League One before joining Scottish club Motherwell in 2009.
Manager Alan Lewer said: “He leads by example and he’ll be fantastic on the training field and in the changing room. It’s a massive coup for the club.”
