TRIO JOIN THE RACE FOR NEW STADIUM

THREE clubs are talking about building an 8,000- seater stadium for football and rugby in Oswestry.
Welsh Premier League giants The New Saints, FC Oswestry Town from the Hallmark Security North West Counties League Division One and Oswestry Rugby Club are looking at developing a site owned by the town council.
The plans are being spearheaded by The New Saints owner, businessman Mike Harris.
If the plans bear fruit, he said that his club’s current Park Hall ground, where they have played for the past decade, would be used for academy sides.
