Blinded at the Bower?

MAY I comment on the letter from Dr D.B.Dyson (Fans’ Forum, June 25) in regards to Stalybridge Celtic.
I quote: “They have developed a Leaguegraded stadium which is surely one of the best in Non-League.” Really??
Look at the state of the pitch towards the end of last season. I’ve seen more grass on Southport beach! Also, when did he last visit the gents in the corner of the ground by the refreshments kiosk? I could go on.
I’m sorry Dr.Dyson, open your eyes, there are grounds in Non-League which are far superior to Bower Fold, and I say this with all due respect...
