DARLINGTON travelled to Northern League neighbours Shildon for their first pre-season friendly – and were stunned by two Adam Burnicle strikes.
The away side fielded all 20 players they had at their disposal as a typically scrappy pre-season affair was interrupted frequently during the second half.
