BLADES CUT OPEN SEADOGS ON THEIR BIG DAY

SCARBOROUGH ATHLETICreturned home for the first time in over a decade as a Sheffield United XI won 4-1 in front of over 2,000.
It was the first time the Seadogs played in their own town since forming in 2007 having been playing home games 20 miles away in Bridlington.
And, while the result might not have in their favour – Jimmy Beadle had scored the first Scarborough goal at a sold out Flamingo Land stadium with an equaliser – chairman Trevor Bull was delighted with the homecoming.
