MACCLESFIELD assistant manager Steve Watson hailed his side’s display against Derby – though trialist Jack Storer lost his cool.
Championship outfit Derby took the lead courtesy of Bradley Johnson in the 72nd minute and Mason Bennett added a second ten minutes later with a header at the far post.
Bizarre scenes ensued as Macc trialist Storer squared up to the Derby players and then left the field, discarding his shirt as he went down the tunnel.
