Lockmen must play at Step 7

WILLENHALL Town chairman Simon Hall said he is “extremely saddened” by the former Southern and Northern League outfit’s relegation to Step 7 on a ground grading technicality.
The Lockmen recently agreed to groundshare with Wednesfield, who have just won promotion as runners-up in Division One of the West Midlands (Regional League).
Premier Division Willenhall needed a new home to avoid having to fold after leaving Bilston’s Queen Street Stadium to make way for a new academy.
