UP IN THE AIR: Worcester City have not given up hope of returning home

WORCESTER City have been given a fresh boost in their bid to retur n home.
Last month, the city council’s planning committee over ruled their officers’ recommendation and refused consent for a new 4,400-capacity stadium in Perdiswell Park on several grounds including the loss of green space.
The committee, like the local community, were divided over the issue, and it was left to the casting vote of chairman Coun Chris Mitchell to turn down the club’s planning application.
