BLUES REVEL AS MATT SIGNS

GOAL MACHINE Matt Blake will become a Leiston legend according to boss Glenn Driver after the frontman signed a new three-year deal.
The 28-year-old scored 42 goals for the Bostik Premier club last season to finish as the division’s highest scorer. Driver was braced to lose the prolific striker, who joined the Blues from Norwich United last summer, in the off-season.
But firm bids haven’t come in and the club have moved to tie him down for the next three seasons.
