GAMBLE IS ON BETTS

MARK BETTS will take sole responsibility for team affairs at reprieved Burnham next season.
Betts –who had been with Slough Town for 12 seasons – and Jon Palmer were brought in to replace caretaker manager Luther Blissett with ten matches remaining last season.
But the pair could not prevent them from finishing second-from-bottom.
However, Burnham were saved from relegation to Hellenic Division One East following the decision by Premier side Ardley United to seek voluntary relegation to Step 6.
Palmer has left leaving Betts in sole charge.
